Christine McCallum

A 29-year-old Abington, MA, elementary teacher Christine McCallum was charged with statutory rape. She’s accused of maintaining an 18-month sexual relationship with a boy in his early teens.

Lurid details emerged about sex in the shower, on the kitchen floor, on the living room floor. She gave the boy a cell phone, wrote letters and was said to be “obsessed.” According to prosecutors she seduced the boy, now 16, February 7, 2006 and had “approximately 300″ sexual liasons.

McCallum denies all the charges, saying she was a surrogate mother to the child.
