Former Phoenix janitor Dale Hausner is the main suspect in a case that ties him to six deaths and a string of attacks on local animals, bicyclists and pedestrians.
Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty at the continuation of his trial (currently set for March 23rd). Hausner, 23, was already acquitted of two of the murders. Authorities claim that Hausner has killed eight people and attacked twenty, along with attacks towards multiple horses and dogs. He has been convicted of 80 of the 87 charges against him, including 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, 16 counts of aggravated assault, 23 counts of drive-by shooting and nine counts of animal cruelty.
