A twelve-year-old girl is believed to have shot her father in the back of the head after an argument. Mark A. Nelson was shot as he lay sleeping in bed and later died in hospital. No-one else was believed to be present. The daughter was charged with aggravated assault just before he died on April 29. Neighbors expressed bewilderment at the incident saying no tension was obvious within the family.
