Insurance man Michael David Barrett faces charges of interstate stalking after he allegedly followed ESPN sports commentator Erin Andrews around several hotel rooms in Nashville…with his camera. Barrett would then try to sell his footage to gossip website TMZ. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The Erin Andrews peephole video scandal prompted huge search engine surges as people looked for the peephole video online. The video was available online for a short time but letters from Andrews’ lawyers soon saw the footage removed.
