A 17-year-old student in Manhattan committed suicide by jumping from his school’s 11th floor window on February 18, 2009.
Theodore Graubard died instantly on impact, his body landing near a group of fourth-graders playing. Nobody knows why Graubard, described as a “well-liked junior,” killed himself. His mother rushed to the scene from her nearby home and “broke down.”
