The untimely death of Michael Jackson may produce a custody battle over the singer’s three children. In the mix are Grace Rwaramba, employee of Jackson for 20 years and Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson. Mark Lester, godfather to the kids, said he would take custody but feels the Jackson family would never allow it.
Debbie Rowe, an Australian nurse who worked for Jackson’s dermatologist, is mother to two of the singer’s children – Prince Michael Jr., 12 and Paris Katherine, 11. It’s been reported that she renounced her rights as a parent during a 2005 custody fight. Her rights were terminated but presiding judge Stephen Lachs later reversed his decision.
According to TMZ, Rowe is now the first choice in a custody dispute: “the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated and that didn’t happen with Rowe. So Rowe has never given up any of her parental rights. As a result, under California law, Rowe is now presumed to be the person who will get custody.”
The mother of Michael Jackson’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II was never revealed.

MJ had a terrible childhood, overbearing parents, which affected him to the point of his weird body mutilations and pedophilia. The children should never go to his parents – they’ve proven they couldn’t rear MJ.

katherine jackson should maintain custody of michael’s 3 children as he requested. what katherine jackson should do is have the nanny move in with her to help her with the children, plus giving them some consistancy in their lives. debra rowe should not get custody, she’s been out of their lives since birth. i definately would not split the children up. blanket should stay with his brother and sister. that would be another trauma. hire the nanny back, that would be in the best interest of the children. i think michael would approve.
