A photograph from 2002 appears to show Michael Jackson’s right leg damaged by needle punctures. A large black, scabby wound is also visible.
The dark wound in the image could be caused an acidic fluid from an IV getting into the skin. It’s very unusual to use a leg for an IV. Doctors are sometimes obliged to find a new place to insert an IV if veins in usual places (arms and hands) have been destroyed.
