A powerful, surgical-strength anesthesia was found at Michael Jackson’s home. The drug, Propofol, is administered via an IV and is only available to medical personnel. The singer’s nutritional nurse, Cherilyn Lee, spoke out about Jackson’s need for sleep. She claims she regularly denied his demands for the drug Diprival, the brand name for Propofol.
This powerful drug, used to cause unconsciousness before surgery, is very difficult to obtain. Lee said Jackson had described, just 3 months before he died, how he wanted the sleep that came with IV sedation. Jackson would not tell her the name of the doctor administering the drug causing several gossip blogs point the finger at Dr. Conrad Murray.
