Nick Hornby wrote the screenplay for An Education, a new movie set in early-sixties Britain. The movie went down well at Sundance and set chins wagging about the impending super stardom of newb Carey Mulligan. She plays a bright young girl torn between the stability of an Oxford education and a more exciting present with a charismatic man. Lone Scherfig directs.
