After an Michael Jackson’s autopsy was completed on June 26, his body was released to the family to arrange a funeral. Jackson’s body will be made available for a public viewing on Friday July 3. A private memorial service for the family takes place Sunday, July 5th.Some believe a global memorial service may be possible. Al Sharpton spoke for the family when he said: “It is the determination of the family to be careful and deliberate on how they plan his celebration of life because we’re talking about a historic figure that really changed pop culture around the world. This is not something you do carelessly and spontaneously. You must also remember they are still grieving and in their grief determined to uphold his legacy.”
What will Michael Jackson’s funeral be like and where will he be buried? It’s highly likely that the family will desire a completely private funeral. But Jackson’s fans will expect some opportunity to grieve in a formal context. A memorial ceremony? A concert? Whatever it is, it will be have to be done on a vast scale.
Michael Jackson died of a heart attack on June 25 at UCLA Ronald Reagan medical Center in Los Angeles. He was found in cardiac arrest at his rented home in LA and was rushed to hospital at around 12.30 p.m that day. It is thought that his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, gave Jackson a shot of demerol just before he had a cardiac arrest. The autopsy revealed no signs of foul play but the decision on the cause of death was deferred pending further tests.

MJ converted to Islam, so his funeral should be the day after death, no more than 48 hours at the most. Muslim, as Jewish, funerals are simple affairs — though not sure how “muslim” MJ ever was.

I am deeply saddened by the news of this loss. Michael Jackson was a legendary icon who felt like someone I’ve grown up with from childhood. His music influenced everything we hear today, the 1st black star to hit mtv, he was truly the greatest performing artist of my lifetime an there will be no other greater than MJ himself! Muslim or not, he deserves a dignified burial. Alot of jokes have been made already about his death, all I have to say upon this matter is what goes around, definatley does come around. The man was MISUNDERSTOOD and most importantly INNOCENT. Do your research and you’ll find he was acquitted of the charges of child molestation, not to mention remained adament of his innocence, the people who brought the charges against him were money hungry! May Allah grant him Jannat.

well m confused abt his relission tht wether he’s muslim or nt bt though he once decided to accept islam so he’s being buried nw as an islamic way within 48 hours of his death.

I would like to touch on the late Michael Jackson. Even if he is a Muslim or not, his songs always remind us to do all the positive things.Which I do believe all religions would like to do…
“Remember The Time”, “Heal The World”, “Black Or White”, “Earth Song” and “We Are The World” are the songs in our daily life which always reminds us all that we are as a human being.
No matter how/which ceremony his body will be burried, as long as his soul is rest in peace that is all matter.
Every death there is a reason behind them. Example the late Laddy Diana and the late Tan Sri P.Ramlee. They are all special. Allah loves them so much .
