Blagojevich stated that his backing of the I-SaveRx prescription drug program was the real reason for his impeachment. The federal government regarded the program as illegal. Blago said new Secretary of State Rahm Emanuel also supported the bill and “President Obama [should] fire Rahm Emanuel” because of it.
