Obama Iran message

Obama extended the olive branch to Iran in an appeal aimed at the Iranian people as much as the leadership. He said: “We seek instead engagement that is honest and grounded in mutual respect.”  The video is the newest and most blatant departure from previous administrations cold attitude towards Iran.  Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was dismissive: “Have you released Iranian assets? Have you lifted oppressive sanctions? Have you given up mudslinging and making accusations against the great Iranian nation and its officials? Have you given up your unconditional support for the Zionist regime? Even the language remains unchanged.”
